It's always fun to kick back after a long week with a hot dog, a beer and some baseball, and this time we're adding a special reason, too.

In June, our chapter lost a good friend and valued teammate, Brad Whittington. He was a UT-Knoxville alumni and active chapter member. For those of us who knew Brad, we consider ourselves lucky to have known such a wonderful person.

Brad was all about having fun, so instead of shedding any more tears, we're going to go out and have a ball watching his favorite baseball team, St. Louis Cardinals, take on our hometown Nats.

We hope you'll all join us in celebrating a great life and good friends in general. Now, who can't raise a glass to that!
